Industrial Sector
In addition to the agricultural machinery that has made that particular sector a success; Sudan’s flourishing industrial sector boasts of assembly plants for planes, cars and other vehicles, iron industry, tanks and rockets. The country has even achieved a degree of self-sufficiency in producing light weapons.

There are also food industries, oil and detergents, flour mills, sugar industry, weaving and textiles, tanneries, cement and building materials, mining, spare parts manufacture, oil pumps, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and many more.
